New Horizon's Image of Pluto

After nine years of waiting, the New Horizon made its closest approach to Pluto, the ninth planet in our Solar System. It was able to send us the pictures of the planet and even some of the highest ice mountains it has.

NASA said it was a great discovery for the humanity since our beliefs about the planet will now be verified. New Horizon spacecraft will now proceed to the Kuiper Belt to give us an idea of what space looks like billion of kilometers from Earth.
